Our Core Ministries

       The Core Teams plan and oversee most of the program ministries that take place at Feast.

The Core Team Leaders all meet with Pastor on the first Thursday of every month. Generally, the Core Teams themselves meet monthly although some may meet more or less often depending on the needs of their current ministry emphasis.

Core Team Leaders must be confirmed members of Feast and are appointed by Church Council at their February meeting. Core Team Leaders serve for a term of three years beginning March 1 and ending February 28. Appointments may be made for shorter terms to fill a vacancy. Sometimes, two or more people serve as Co-Leaders of a Core Team. In the fall of each year, Core Team Leaders prepare a proposed budget for their Team’s ministry in the coming year. They are then responsible for spending the monies allocated to their Team in accordance with the Annual Budget. Core Team Leaders are invited and encouraged to utilize their spiritual gifts, to follow their passions and to be innovative in directing or expanding their Team’s ministry.
